HD-DSLR: “Hallensteins” TVC, directed by Derek Henderson
Just out this week, a local New Zealand produced example of a TVC entirely shot with Canon 5d MK2. Interestingly, Derek Henderson is best known for his stills work, however he has been directing commercials for a while now. He shot the stills on the same day for the print campaign.
Note: The dynamics of a film crew working with a stills crew maybe changed for ever. It would be nice for stills photographers to be treated with respect, and not as minor annoyances, or 3rd class citizens as is unfortunately too often the case. Tomorrow, they might be your boss.
