Most production problems are not creative. They are structural.

Inconsistent results. Slow workflows. Gear that doesn’t behave how expected. Systems that don’t scale.

This is not a talent issue. It is a system issue.

We work with photographers, teams, and businesses to fix how production actually works.

What we do

We help you:

  • design studio and lighting systems that work day to day
  • build repeatable workflows for consistent output
  • choose equipment based on application, not marketing
  • identify and remove inefficiencies in existing setups

Where this applies

  • photographers refining technique or understanding equipment in real scenarios
  • businesses building or upgrading studios
  • agencies bringing production in-house
  • teams needing consistent, scalable content output

Clients  include:

  • Turners Car Auctions — high-volume vehicle photography system
  • Farmers Trading Company — staff training and workflow development
  • agencies and brands setting up internal studios and production capability

How we work

We start with the real constraint:

What are you trying to produce, at what volume, and how consistently?

From there we:

  • map the workflow
  • define lighting and space
  • specify the right equipment
  • test and refine in real conditions

This can happen on-site or within our studios.

Consulting sessions

We run consulting in focused working sessions.

Most engagements start with a 2-hour session, where we review your setup, identify constraints, and define a practical path forward.

Rates

On-site (at Kingsize)
$100 per hour + GST
2-hour minimum

Off-site (your location)
$150 per hour + GST
2-hour minimum

Off-site sessions are typically used for planning, system design, and workflow development.

What happens in a session

  • review your current setup or brief
  • identify inefficiencies and constraints
  • test or demonstrate solutions where needed
  • outline a clear plan and next decisions

Equipment and implementation

We supply and specify equipment where needed, but the advice comes first.

  • brand-agnostic recommendations
  • full studio fit-outs
  • sourcing, shipping, and installation
  • staff training
  • ongoing support

We represent a range of leading manufacturers, but we will always recommend what fits the job.

What changes

  • shoots run faster
  • results become consistent
  • staff know what they are doing
  • equipment fits the application
  • fewer surprises on shoot day

Next step

Send through what you are trying to achieve.

We will review it and tell you what actually needs to change.

If needed, we will start with a focused session and build from there.
