HD-DSLR: Green Screen Capable?
There has been some “official” uncertainty as to whether the Canon / Nikon HD-DSLRs were capable of good quality chromakey work using blue or green screens. We have had mixed feedback, and we are yet to fully test either, but here is some feedback from DP Shane Hurlbut, in a photcine news post, which also includes a great showreel for Stargate Studios Virtual Backlot.
The verdict appears to be: don’t use blue screen, but green screen is a winner.
