KOBOLD HMI + MOLA

If you have ever used HMI, and loved it…and if you’ve also used a Mola dish, and fallen for that, then imagine them both together !

What we needed was an HMI source that could offer a bare bulb option. We prototyped with a Joker Bug, and finished up with a Kobold DW 800 open face adapter permanently attached to our custom Mola.

After discussing with Walter at Mola the idea, he offered to custom make a Euro dish, installing a heat vent to help dissipate the extra heat.

Now we can offer from our rental department this 1200w HMI / Beauty Dish combo.
