Here my first column from March 2007 in the Photographers Mail which asks the basic question of: “What Light Should I Use”. The photographer’s range of assignments is generally so varied that we often have to choose a different lighting solution for every shot. This can lead to some serious head scratching, but in this article I lay out a list of general questions to ask yourself when presented with a new shot.
