RED: EOS LENS AF VIDEO
RED Scarlet makes surprise cameo filming EPIC’s fast focus — Engadget
The long awaited RED Scarlet is photographed filming a 2 second clip of an EOS 85mm L series lens on an EPIC accomplishing some staggering AF speeds.
This in conjunction with some features such as ramping focus, plotting focus points, and touch screen AF suggests an exciting future for film making AND stills photography !
note: RED will be manufacturing a line of full frame 35mm AF lenses, but Canon EOS and Nikon lenses can be fitted to various RED cameras.
